Down to Lynchburg

Early Thursday morning we will be taking 37 down to VA to check out Liberty University.  We're most excited about the Charlie Hall concert ... he's the best.  We were thinking ... About 50% of our students end up at Liberty for college.  So let's say only 15 of these students end up down there.... That's at least $80,ooo over the course of their four years times 15 .... that's $1 mil 2ook.  I need some commission!   OR at least they could give me a free ride on my masters work!

Reading....

Doing quite a bit of reading for school ... currently enjoying "Planting Growing Churches for the 21st Century" by Aubrey Malphurs. It's a good read.  I'm looking forward to finishing up with seminary in May and reading the books that I choose to read!    -josh

Luca Wallace Wyatt

After three fairly easy hours of labor and four solid pushes, Luca Wallace Wyatt was born last night, May 3rd, at 6:23pm!  He weighed 7 lbs. 5 oz. and was 20 1/4 inches long.  Today should be a busy day of family and friends visiting and welcoming him into the world!   Isaiah is still getting used to the idea of being a big brother, but loves him very much!

Nick and Emily's yearly ski trip to MA

Josh's brother and sister have made a tradition of coming up every winter to visit and ski! They had a lot of fun with Isaiah, and Isaiah really enjoyed their company! He was sad to see them leave! Come back any time guys!
He kept stealing Emily's water from her. He loves to drink out of a "big boy" cup!

Costume Party

So, we had our annual Costume party for the highschoolers, and Josh and I were stressing all week long about what to be, until... we broke out our Saved by the Bell DVDs, and found some inspiration!!! That's right. Zack and Kelly showed up to the party. Unfortunately half of the kids didn't even get it. It was the first time I actually felt old around them! Oh, and we brought our cute pet skunk with us :)





Isaiah hung out by this ice bucket for about an hour. For some reason he loves sucking on ice.

Sara's Bachelorette Weekend

This past weekend, the wedding party spent a couple days on the boat, and in Providence, Rhode Island. We had such a fun time being girls! They couldn't wait to get their hands on my hair. I don't think it will look like this again any time soon. It took them an hour to straighten it! Who has that kind of time with a toddler running around?
