We're Expecting a Baby!!!

Can you believe it? We couldn't be more excited! I am due on July 19th. It had to be the most torturous thing, to hide this information from the people we love most for almost month! We decided that it would probably be a good idea to wait unitl I was around 8 weeks pregnant before we started sharing the good news. First, we told my parents. We broke the news to them on my mom's birthday. She thought it was the best gift ever! We told Josh's parents the following day. We tried to be creative- after all, it wouldn't have been very exciting to just tell them over the phone. We decided to make the a "Thanksgiving DVD", and tell them what we were thankful for this year. They totally flipped out. We had them on speaker phone as they watched it. Leslie is a little upset about becoming a grandmother at her age but, none the less, she is thrilled!

What a crazy summer this will be. We have a whole lot to plan for, and look forward to. We can't wait to be parents!

We're Building a House!

As some of you know, we have been on a search for a while now for a piece of affordable land to build a humble home on. Well.... we found some! We will be closing on it in January, and hopefully start building in March. Ideally, we would like to be in by July. I don't know what we would be doing were it not for my dad guiding us along the way. His expertise in so many areas has come in handy. This is a picture of the little house he will be building for us. We are very excited about it, and can't wait to have a place of our own! God is good! The funny thing is that we will be neighbors with our pastor!
